jane
- Hello, Dr. Liz! I guess we are early here. How are you?
kikfrd
- Hello all jane
- I have a very rowdy stray kitten with me here trying to help me type - his name
is Diamond (so far).
Dr.
Liz -
Diamond ... great name. Hi, Kikfrd, how are you?
jane
- Hi kikfrd...
kikfrd
- I'm doing very well... too well I sometimes feel :-)
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd ... "too well"? LOL
kikfrd
- I was curious to see how Fred would react and without expectations I watch our
relationship change. I do feel he would like some additional company around here,
it must be very boring but for now I will wait for the universe to place something
in our home.
kikfrd
- I say "too well" because, on my way home from work, the thought crossed
my mind .. it was like she was never here...
kikfrd
- I guess I completely let go of her for now.
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, that's a natural thought, that it was like she was never here. It's part
of adjusting to the eternal knowing, as compared to the physical knowing.
kikfrd
- it feels strange to be so enlightened in times like this. My sister's father
in law was just diagnosed with cancer that's all through his body and I was just
like... huh... good luck
jane
- Diamond has become VERY calm, as I knew he would be.
kikfrd
- not to say I wouldn't be there for them if i could but it's a situation in which
there's no need for drama and I'm just not going there

jane
- Dr. Liz - I have heard that cancer cells cannot grow in an alkaline environment
in the body - if the body is more alkaline, then you cannot get cancer - is there
any truth to that?
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, I've lost my interest in drama, too. I understand.

Liz -
Jane, yes. However, as with anything, you can be TO alkaline, and that, too, is
problematic.
Dr.
Liz -
Hi, RT! Rosie
Tara
- Hi everybody! sorry about the entrance before...:))
jane
- Kikfrd- I agree - no one needs the drama.
kikfrd
- Dr. Liz, losing the drama is a very calm and peaceful way of being but I feel
it is taken as depression or sadness... and who know's maybe some of that is mixed
in too at times

jane
- Thanks RT - you look good in green, too!
Rosie
Tara
- Liz, did you have time to read my email ?
Rosie
Tara
- LOL Dr.
Liz -
RT, when did you send it?
Rosie
Tara
- Last night, Liz
Dr.
Liz -
RT, no email from you either yesterday or today.
Rosie
Tara
- Hmmm... that' s weird.. will send it again right now
Rosie
Tara
- Done, Liz Dr.
Liz -
RT ... It'll be interesting to see what happens with the email. Should we set
a clock? LOL!
Rosie
Tara
- Hope you got it now...did you ?
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, that's an interesting topic ... what is life in these united states like
without emotional drama ... or life anywhere, for that matter ... for me, for
the longest time, I had the misconception that being peaceful inside was boring.
I realize now, it is anything but.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, no. No change in my inbox status.
Rosie
Tara
- So true Liz, I think it has also something to do with age....
Dr.
Liz -
In a way, it's related to our topic for tonight, which is about setting boundaries.
Part of a boundary, can be to be in our OWN emotional responses, without feeling
responsible for anyone ELSE'S emotions or responses.
Dr.
Liz -
RT ... or background and training. I know some very peaceful, young monks.
Rosie
Tara
- Liz it is a long way from Australia to the USA....let's wait a moment....:)))
kikfrd
- I liked the topic of tonights chat because now that I do not have the responsibility
of Kiki I find everyone tugging for me to visit. I made my first venture out yesterday
and met my mother and nephews on the beach for the day. Now my mother is a VERY
DRAMA filled person. She can tell you how beautiful the day is and still sound
like she's complaining about it. Anyway I committed to spending the day with them
and kept my peace the entire time. It was wonderful. I wouldn't want to do it
2 days in a row but for a baby step I think it went pretty well. LOL
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, sounds like you held your center beautifully. Good job!
kikfrd
- Whew! Rosie
Tara
- Well that is true , too, Liz
Dr.
Liz -
RT ... but this is the INTERNET, it's supposed to be INSTANTANEOUS, isn't it????
LOL LOL LOL Dr.
Liz -
RT, what email address did you use?
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, you write "everyone tugging" ... that is part of what I felt
we could all discuss this time.
Rosie
Tara
- Kikrfd.... I know what you went through ...my mother in law is like that
Rosie
Tara
- Liz, nrghealer@aol.com
kikfrd
- I'm shocked by what she says at times and how she feels. I know they are a result
of aging, pain and a whole lot of looking at other people and not at herself.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, definitely the correct email.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, still no email. :)
Rosie
Tara
- I try again.later..even it is very important for me to hear your advice on that...
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, the best place to be with anyone, is to be thankful that they've pushed
whatever buttons they've pushed. I'm not always there. That said, I know it's
the best place to be. Usually the people closest to us, are the ones that push
our buttons the most.
kikfrd
- RT-we can all give you advice... copy and paste it in the chat LOL!

Marge! Hello! Lovely to see you! You've been missed. How are you?
Rosie

- Hi Marge! Rosie
Tara
- kikfrd....thank you...it is along one
Dr.
Liz -
RT, I'm definitely getting emails from people from other countries, a few have
come in the past few minutes ... so I'm not sure why neither of yours has.
Marge
- I'm well thanks! How are ya'll?
Rosie
Tara
- a long......
Marge
- ... no talk to, RT? lol, lol
Dr.
Liz -
On the topic of boundaries, we were talking about people "pulling" at
us ... kikfrd
- RT, you've been in these chats before... we're not scared :-)
Rosie
Tara
- sned it agaain...sorry about the interruption of the chat
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, I know you feel it ... RT, I know you feel it ... Jane, I suspect you
do, too ...
Dr.
Liz -
RT, still nothing from you ...
Dr.
Liz -
RT, I mean, no email ...
Rosie
Tara
- it is 3 times confirmed as SEND....weird
Rosie
Tara
- Liz...LOL kikfrd
- And no 2 situations are alike so no matter where you set your boundaries they
are "bound" to change
Dr.
Liz -
Anyone want to share, what she does, when she feels pulled at?
jane
- RT - check your OUTBOX and make sure that your messages are not sitting in there
for some reason.
Marge
- RT ... I've had something similar happen ... problem with my computer ... the
emails I thought I sent were in my outbox, just sitting there.
Dr.
Liz -
Kikfrd, I find that whenver I've set them consciously, something comes up that
stretches them or "tests" them ... LOL!
jane
- Rt - also check your SENT mail to see if the messageswre sent.
Marge
- lol Jane kikfrd
- EXACTLY!!!
Rosie
Tara
- Outbox empty ....
Dr.
Liz -
Jane, I just got your email ...
Dr.
Liz -
All, Jane just sent me a "test" email from the Chat room to make sure
I'm receiving ... I know I am because I've gotten 7 since we've been on-line now
... jane
- That was fast, Dr.Liz - RT - what email program are you using?
Rosie
Tara
- I give up .....must happen for a reason....BUT I will try again
Dr.
Liz -
And usually, it's something I hadn't anticipated ... or someone I feel I "have
to" help or respond to ...
Marge
- RT ... does it show in your SENT box that they've gone out?
Dr.
Liz -
RT, send it to spirit1@beyond1.com and see what happens.
kikfrd
- When I feel I'm being pulled the first thing I do is try to make sure I don't
want to do whatever it is because of a healthy one and not one that may be a typical
pattern of unhealthy living :-)
Dr.
Liz -
That's another email address I use just for business.
Dr.
Liz -
My biggest "downfall" is I take on too much responsibility. I haven't
figured out how to manage that one yet.

Marge
- Hi Dee & kids!
Dr.
Liz -
Somewhere along the way, I was VERY well taught, that "I am my brother or
sister's keeper" and that means ALL of human/animal kind.
kikfrd
- I had that discussion with my sister today. She feels she must please everyone
no matter what the cost... I on the other hand choose to take the role of helper
and I help as much as I can and that is it. I cannot help if the person is "pleased"
or not. Rosie
Tara
- Done Liz kikfrd
- Hi Dee! How was your session?
Dr.
Liz -
So saying "No" or letting go of a feeling of responsibility has always
been hard for me.
Dee
& "kids"
- wonderfully healing...
Dr.
Liz -
Hmmm. RT, still no email. I'm starting to suspect Spirit at Work.
Dr.
Liz -
Dee, what session?
Rosie
Tara
- Hi Dee& kids
Dee
& "kids"
- I just finished a reiki session for a woman who is doing amazing healing with
the energy and releaseing so powerfully...it is beautiful to behold
Dr.
Liz -
Dee. feels delicious. :)
jane
- Everyone - I think we are all feeling it these days - taking on too much - we
are only trying to help people and help the animals. All of the "animal people"
where I live here in Louisiana are so overwhelmed with homeless animals and pregnant
cats and dogs - people dump kittns and puppies in the woods year after year, but
cannt afford to get their animals fixed. It is so heartbreaking - when do we say
no to a helpless animal?
Dr.
Liz -
Honestly, I feel I'll be BETTER at helping, when I learn how to create clear bondaries
of responsibility.
Dee
& "kids"
- she "found" me through my hsbands Facebook actually..and old High
school friend
Rosie
Tara
- My request was exactely about that ...helping an animal but risking a friendship
as well ...I have to decide between the two
Dee
& "kids"
- he posted pics of my meditation room, she saw them and it called to her to reach
out Dr.

- Hi Carol jane
- RT - I have been there so many times - it is a very hard place to be. I have
seen good friends - not really taking care of their animals as "I think they
should." If you say something, you may be overstepping your bounds, I fyou
do not say anything, then what about the animal?
Rosie
Tara
- A friend of mine breeds Rottweilers and even imported a beautiful rottie girl
from Germany four years ago
Dr.
Liz -

Dr.
Liz -
RT ... okay ...
Marge
- Hi Helen! Dr.
Liz -
RT, it is unfortunately VERY common for breeders to pay attention more to the
money than the health of their nice persones or studs..
Rosie
Tara
- Last week Fee was diagnosed with Lymph cancer....now i cry again....sorry
Rosie
Tara
- she has only 2 month to live Dr.
Liz -
All ... I wrote b i t c h e s not "nice persones" .... there's an editor
in this chatroom software ...
Dee

- Hi Helen jane
- RT - there is SO MUCH animal breeding down here and the selling of puppies -
it literally makes me sick. People seem to overlook what the constant breeding
does to the mother ad her body. What is wrong with people?
Dee
& "kids"
- LOL Dr Liz- i was wondering about that i you last line...lol
jane
- Dr. Liz - that is too funny - the substitution for what you wrote....
Marge
- oh RT ... we will all pray for her here tonight
Rosie
Tara
- Fee has always been in this concret kennel and it is cold here at the moment
...I had a long talk with my friend yesterday which could be the end of our freindship
Dr.

without editing them ... it IS really funny ... for example t i t l e is always
written toele.

Dee

- hi GG Rosie
Tara
- at least Fee is allowed in the house?garage now and has a warm bed
Helen
- which is sometime appropriate c for the ear.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, I'm sure to your friend it's just a business. But for you, it's a spirit and
a soul and a being worth treasuring. Two different attitudes.
Marge
- RT ... personally, when it comes to cruelty like that ... I cannot consider
the person a friend ... I'd rather defend the animal
Dr.
Liz -
Helen ... LOL!
Dee
& "kids"
- RT- how terrible for you to have to witness
GirlyGirls
- Hi, Dee! Love to see my friends. Was so tired, was going to simply join you
in spirit. . .then I had a sad thought and I said, nope, don't go there, get on
the chat! Rosie
Tara
- I cannot forget Fee eyes when I visited her ...so sad and begging
Dr.

Marge, same here.
Helen

too upsetting

GirlyGirls
- a lot of ignorance out there.
Rosie
Tara
- I am ALWAYS on the animals side....ALWAYS !!!!
Dr.
Liz -
Anyone know who Carol is/was?
jane
- RT - I have found that more recently - I have very strongly felt that if my
"friends" did not have any more awareness for their animals than this,
that maybe they do not need to be my friends. People who cannot see the pain or
wrong of what they are doing.....I would rather speak up for the animal and lose
a friend (and I have done that). Maybe yo can plant a seed of thought into them
about the wellbeing of the animals.
GirlyGirls
- Nope. jane
- I do not know who Carol is/was.
Dr.
Liz -
Jane, I feel your attitude and behavior are correct in this.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, still, the animal is suffering, whether it is due to the husband's attitudes
or the wife's. She IS married to him by her choice.
Rosie
Tara
- We bought the bed for Fee together....but haven't heard from her /them again......
kikfrd
- In a situation like RT's it's very hard to find and draw the boundary.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, last summer, I visited some friends who had their dog chained outside in 100
degree F heat in the sun with no shade and no doghouse.
Rosie
Tara
- kikfrd.....exactely....
GirlyGirls
- I took Fergus on because the neighbor he belonged to was abusive. It's been
two years he is here. . went I went to vote, another neigbor was there and commented
about my taking Fergus from them. . .she used to get drunk and scream to the neighborhood
that I stole her cat. . .but Fergus pounded his way into my home to get away from
them, He is free to come and go, he stays here. Ruined my reputation with a few
locally, but soo. . .what?
Dr.
Liz -
I went and bought a dog house and put it in place ... it is the law in New Jersey
that any dog outside have a dog house ...
Dr.
Liz -
They've barely spoken to me since. It is what it is. I also called a local organiztion
where they live, to check up on the dog later and make sure it was being taken
care of. jane
- Thank you, Dr. Liz. RT - I think that the animals are asking us for our help
- I say that I cannot "hear" the animals, but sometimes, I CAN hear
them calling to me to help them. I always seem to get into trouble - including
almost getting arrestted several times fro territorial owners. Where is the boundary
of what we can do to help the animals and what is considered trespassing and not
minding your own business.
Marge
- I agree with you GG and Jane ... who needs friends that are cruel to animals.
GirlyGirls
- My cousin breeds goats, mostly for the females for goat milk/cheese production.
She used to sell the males, now serves them for dinner. i asked her if it was
hard to do that. . . she said not as hard as seeing one of her goats roped to
the side of a barn in extreme heat with no shade and water when she passed by
the folks she sold him to.
Rosie
Tara
- My "friends" have 7 other Rottweiler in this "modern animal prison"
....I have a lot of work in front of me....may be even a scandal !!
Dr.
Liz -
Jane, the first thing I counsel people to do, is find out what your local laws
are. The A.S.P.C.A. has them for most jurisdictions. It is very clear in most
states and in the country, what is considered abuse; although there's precious
little funding available to litigate. Also, PITA is a possibility for help. Anhyway,
first, know the laws, local, state, and federal.
GirlyGirls
- I will pray to St. Michael, St. Francis, and my friend Fr. Trautner to protect
you RT. Dr.
Liz -
Also, know that as an individual, you actually have MORE rights than an organization.
That may surprise you, but you do.
Rosie
Tara
- Jane....I HEARD Fee calling for me.......
Dr.
Liz -
You have more rights relative to a citizen's arrest than most organizations. That
may surprise you, too.
Dr.
Liz -
RT, it will be their scandal, not yours.
jane
- One thing that I have wondered about was - in the end - did I REALLY help the
animal? It took me a while to learn that people will get rid or move the animals
if you start to scrutnize the horrible conditions that the animals are living
in. Do they go into a WORSE situation because you interferred?
Dr.
Liz -
RT, in your case, it is the R.S.P.C.A.
Rosie
Tara
- Liz, the RSPCA here in Australia says as long an animal has shelter and get
fed it is not a RSPCA case
jane
- RT - I HEAR you too - we have to do something when we are called.
GirlyGirls
- I know what it is like to hear the call to help. Years ago, hot hot summer,
Fergus showed up on my back porch. An interior voice said "treat him like
he is your own". So I fed him, and put out water for him, and made a nest
for him, and brought him into the air conditioning. A week later, a neighbor stopped
by because they were concerned about Fergus and their other cat. . .
Dr.
Liz -
RT, find out what "shelter" means, specifically. It may not mean cold
concrete. GirlyGirls
- said the owners had gone away to Ireland for two weeks and just left the cats
outside to fend for themselves pretty much, someone dropping food in the back
yard. It was a string of 100 plus degree days!!
Dr.
Liz -
RT, also, find out what constitutes "abuse". Breeding a dog 3 times
in a short period of time may qualify.
Rosie
Tara
- Jane ...NO they are just ignorant....wanted to breed ROTTWEILERS...a posh thing
to do here in the community
jane
- Dr. Liz - I do work with a local animal welfare organization - PAWS - I am the
secretary - we generally do not have the support of local law enforcement - the
good ole boys network - they sometimes treat their animals as bad as the abuse
calls and the law enforcement officers do not see anything wrong with animal abuse??
Rosie
Tara
- Liz...that is my point...and my daughter Sandra's , too
Marge
- I once heard a horse I had known previously (many miles away) call to me that
he was cold and hungry. I barely knew his new owner and I told her that he came
through to me in a dream telling me this. She went out to where he was boarded
and found that this was so ... she moved him to another boarding facility. She
was not aware that he wasn't being cared for properly.
GirlyGirls
- Trust the power you have been given to correct the situation, RT.
jane
- I think that we have to keep sticking our necks out to help the animals - there
really is so much total IGNORANCE out there. Other times, it is just that they
do not have any kind of conscious and do not think that the animals feel anything
at all. Dr.
Liz -
Jane, yes, you've mentioned that to me before. However, it is KNOWN that repetitive
animal abusers grow to become serial killers.
Rosie
Tara
- Marge....I hope that my "friend" has learned that , too, through me
Dr.
Liz -
Or more correctly, all serial killers have repetitive animal abuse in their backgrounds.
Helen
- then maybe a video of the conditions posted on youtube, seems to be the way
to go for undercovering shady goings on, if nothing else send it to a newpaper
or tv studio.
jane
- YES YES, Dr. Liz - if anyone has it in their heart to hurt an animal - they
have a huge flaw in their character - they can hurt anyone or anything.
Dr.
Liz -
Marge, your intervention saved this horse's life. Fortunately, the person involved
was conscious, caring, and responsive.
Rosie
Tara
- How terrible, Liz.....
Dr.
Liz -
Marge, as were you ...
Marge
- yes Liz ... she was so ... only wish more people were
jane
- Marge - you were lucky that your friend listened to you. Bless you.
Dr.
Liz -
Many of us will be used to raise awareness, to raise consciousness. It's just
what's so. Someone has to do it.
Rosie
Tara
- I cannot save Fee life.anymore....only a miracle can save her life !!...
Dr.
Liz -
And we here, are all part of this "raising" that is going on now.
GirlyGirls
- My friend Kim is a vet in NC, her husband a retired police officer from Long
Island. . .someone brought their dog in for treatment, kim x-rayed and realized
his jaw had been broken by likely a cast iron pan. when the owner came to pick
him up, Walter said, no. They threatened, Walter calmly took his rifle off of
the wall put it under his arm facing the floor and earlobeed it, and said, time
for you to leave. . the dog isn't yours anymore. "Wilbur" lived a very,
very happy long life with a family he loved very much after that. . . :-) Sometimes,
it takes a little similar force!
GirlyGirls
- c o c k e d the rifle! :-) we were just talking about that!
jane
- Dr. Liz - it just sure seems like such a SLOW process!
Rosie
Tara
- GG I love that combination....vet and policeman....that works for the animals
Marge
- we've just had 2 horses lost due to the chuckwagon races at the Calgary Stampede
... yet, they say that more are saved by becoming chuck horses ... otherwise they
would be sent to the slaughter houses. The whole thing makes me sick!
Dr.
Liz -
GG, that's a beautiful story. We pray extra tonight in thanks for Walter's strength
and knowing of correct action.
Dr.
Liz -
Marge, I read about that.
Helen
- god Marge, only heard about the first one.
jane
- GG - wow - what kind of guts did Walter have! It seems like nowadays, the owners
would SUE for their dog back....and probably win - here. Let us pray for people
to have the courage to help the animals!
GirlyGirls
- I love Walter and Kim. . Walter is special, you think he's a yahoo to meat him,
but a deeply sensitive and intelligent man, very strong in character and sure
in purpose. He can train and rehabilitate the most deperately badly behaved dogs.
. .unbelieveable!
Rosie
Tara
- Marge...I cannot sleep since i saw FEE
Dr.
Liz -
Jane, no, they wouldn't win, with a situation like the one GG described.
jane
- Oh, Marge - the Calgary Stampede just makes me sick - I don't know which is
worse... Rosie
Tara
- Jane , YES let us use the power of praying !!!!
Marge
- Helen, they kept the second one fairly quiet ... the horse broke it's front
leg somewhere at the beginning of the race
Dr.
Liz -
All ... let's pray now ... this very moment ...

Pray for the raising of consciousness ...
GirlyGirls
- Kim is very involved in horse rescue in her area. . .I have watched her work
with severely abused horses, stunned me to see her enter the stall, so sure, too,
and be every so patient, and finally get the horse calm enough for her to examine.
It was an amazing experience for me. By the way, Liz, you'l l love this, they
don't "believe" in animal communicator stuff! ISn't that too funny!
And they do it all the time!
Marge
- ready Dr.

Pray to thank those who are brave enough to step forward and do something ...

GirlyGirls
- Good night all, please allow me to wrap your spirit, prayer and love around
me like a blanket til we meet again!
jane
- That IS pretty funny, Dr. Liz! and yes, RT - I believe that any time that we
stick our necks out to help an animal - I want to tell people that the animals
ccannot speak for themselves - that we have to help them - I always learn a great
deal from the situation, but as I have said before - sometimes I am not sure if
I have actually "helped" the animal or made the situation worse....one
can only hope for the best...
Dr.
Liz -
GG, let's all do it ... let's all wrap our arms around each other, knowing that
for each of us, we are wrapping all those here, in a blanket of love, until we
meet again ...
jane
- What I meant to say was that some people say that the animals do not ahve a
voice to speak for themselves, but we all know differently!
GirlyGirls
- I can see it, be it, feel it.. can we all?
Rosie
Tara
- All.....have beautiful dreams....I have to struggle through the Friday.....love
you all !! Dr.
Liz -
